Danyliuk: state will ensure stability of PrivatBank, customers don't have to worry
Oleksandr Danyliuk, a member of the team of candidate for the presidency of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, is convinced that PrivatBank will work steadily, despite any court decisions.
"PrivatBank is a state-owned stable bank, and this is the main thing. Clients do not have to worry, the state will ensure complete financial stability," he told reporters at Zelensky's headquarters on Sunday.
Danyliuk noted that PrivatBank cannot be "denationalized."
"I was asked this question a few months ago and I said that it was impossible. But so many experts in Ukraine, including those at public posts, said it was possible, but now everyone acknowledged that it was legally impossible to return PrivatBank to the former owners. And all state leaders have now confirmed this. I am glad that they have heeded me," he stressed.
