Man dies near polling station in Ternopil region - Ukrainian Interior Ministry
Ukrainian police have received 179 reports about violations of election laws, and a person has died near a polling station in Ternopil region, Ukraine's Interior Ministry said.
"Police have received 179 reports about violations during the electoral process," the ministry said on Twitter at 11:00 a.m. local time.
"Regrettably, a person has suddenly died near a polling station in Ternopil region," it said.
It is a man, born in 1944, it said.
"Unknown people have damaged a polling station" in Kharkiv region, it said.
On Sunday, Ukraine is holding the second-round run-off, in which Volodymyr Zelensky and incumbent President Petro Poroshenko are competing for the country's presidency.
