Poroshenko: no information that would discredit results of elections
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has thanked Ukrainians for the active voting in the presidential elections and stressed that there is no information that could discredit the results of the vote.
"I am very grateful to those who did not stay at home today, who, regardless of whom you voted for, made a contribution to a free expression of the will of Ukrainian citizens: you showed that you are free citizens who care about the future of your state," Poroshenko said.
He noted that there were fewer complaints about violations during the voting than in 2014.
"We have not heard a single message that could affect the will of citizens. We passed the test for our European character," Poroshenko stressed.
