Occupation forces fire on positions of Ukrainian military in Donbas on day of elections, no casualties – JFO

Occupation forces since the beginning of the day and as of 18:00 on Sunday had fired on the positions of the Ukrainian military in Donbas with heavy machine guns, there are no casualties, the press center of the Joined Forces Operation has said.

"During the day, the enemy fired on the JFO positions within the area of responsibility of the Vostok (Skhid) operational-tactical group near Lebedynske from large-caliber machine guns and small arms. There are no casualties among our defenders," the report on Facebook states.

Ukrainian military responded to enemy shelling. Losses of the enemy are being specified.

The situation in the JFO area remains under the control of Ukrainian soldiers.
