Voting in presidential elections of Ukraine completed at Akademik Vernadsky Antarctic station
Voting at the presidential elections of Ukraine has ended at a polling station at the Ukrainian Antarctic station Akademik Vernadsky, 34 people voted, according to the National Antarctic Research Center.
The center said on Facebook on Sunday voting at the Ukrainian Antarctic station began at 08:00 Argentine time (14:00 Kyiv time) on March 31 and ended within an hour.
A scanned copy of the protocol of the voting results was sent via the Internet to the Central Election Commission at 15:40 Kyiv time.
The bulletins and protocol originals are sealed and will be transferred to the CEC after the reshuffle of the permanent Antarctic expedition in the second half of April 2019.
