NABU investigating some cases related to NBU, Gontareva not yet under suspicion – NABU chief
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is investigating a large number of cases involving the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), and former NBU governor Valeriya Gontareva is not yet under suspicion, NABU Director Artem Sytnyk has said.
"If we speak about corruption crimes or facts, these are facts. There are several criminal proceedings involving the NBU being investigated by NABU. There is information about some employees of the NBU. Notices of suspicion have not yet been presented," he said at a briefing last week, asked about the possible case against Gontareva for abuse of office investigated by NABU.
