Opposition candidate Vashadze refuses to admit defeat in Georgian election
Strength in Unity does not recognize the result of the presidential election, Grigol Vashadze, the candidate of that organization and the United National Movement, said after the Central Elections Commission announced his loss.
"Georgia does not have a president," Vashadze told opposition supporters inside the National Philharmonic in Tbilisi on Thursday.
Strength in Unity demands early parliamentary elections, he said.
