Russian militants launch 16 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas over past day – JFO HQ

 Russian-backed militants have launched 16 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day, wounding two Ukrainian servicemen, the press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.

"The invaders opened fire on the positions of our troops 16 times. The enemy used armaments prohibited by the Minsk agreements nine times. Two soldiers of the JFO were wounded during the fighting," the JFO staff said on Facebook on Monday morning.

Illegal armed formations fired at Ukrainian positions in the areas of Troyitske, Luhanske, Travneve, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, and Lebedynske.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, four militants were killed and six wounded.
