Berlin to continue fighting for Ukraine's peace and territorial integrity
German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has said that Germany will continue helping Ukraine in the implementation of reforms.
We will continue to strongly advocate for the peace and territorial integrity of Ukraine. And we will continue supporting the Ukrainian government in implementing reforms to improve people's lives, Maas said on Wednesday. The text of his statement in connection with the 5th anniversary of Maidan was published by the press service of the ministry.
According to the minister, over the past five years, more than a hundred people have died in Ukraine in protests, more than a thousand people have become victims of the conflict in the east of the country.
