Russia imposes sanctions on 322 Ukrainian individuals, 68 legal entities
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a resolution imposing special economic measures on Ukrainian individuals and legal entities.
The sanctions will apply to 322 individuals and 68 legal entities.
The resolution imposed special economic measures, such as blocking [freezing] of accounts and deposits, uncertified securities, and assets in the territory of Russia, and a ban on transferring funds [exporting capital] from Russia.
Judges of the Ukrainian Constitutional Court, deputies of the 8th Verkhovna Rada, major Ukrainian businessmen, members of the Ukrainian presidential administration, heads of Ukrainian executive authorities, and executives of big Ukrainian companies will fall under sanctions.
The blacklisted legal entities are controlled by major Ukrainian businessmen.
