Poroshenko appoints head of SBU office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has appointed Oleksandr Karpenko head of the main directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
The respective presidential decree, No. 347/2018, was posted on the website of the head of state on October 26.
Previously, this post was held by Oleksandr Kuts, who in June of this year took charge of the Donetsk regional civil-military administration.
In addition, the president appointed Oleh Zozulia head of the SBU office in Vinnytsia region, dismissing his predecessor Volodymyr Pakhniuk.
