Ukrainian-Belarusian border will always be line of peace - Poroshenko
The Ukrainian-Belarusian border is and will always be a line of peace between the two states, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"The border between our countries was, is and will definitely be a line of peace, a line of friendship, which will strengthen trust and cooperation between our states," he said at the first Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Ukraine in Gomel on Friday.
Poroshenko noted the active work of the joint Ukrainian-Belarusian demarcation commission, which indicates a high level of mutual understanding and trust between the states.
"I am deeply convinced that our friendship, friendship between the presidents, friendship between the states, and friendship between the nations will only grow stronger and develop," he said.
