Second Forum of Regions of Ukraine and Belarus to be held in Zhytomyr in 2019 - Poroshenko
The second Forum of the Regions of Ukraine and Belarus will take place in Zhytomyr in 2019, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"I hope that we will soon be able to talk about the tradition of holding [fora] annually, alternately in each of our countries. I, as president of Ukraine, want to invite all the [forum] participants next year [...] We decided that it would be held in Zhytomyr," he said at the first Forum of the Regions of Ukraine and Belarus in Gomel on Friday.
Poroshenko said that 12 interstate, intergovernmental and interregional agreements are to be signed at the forum in Gomel.
He also noted that the regional forum had become the center of the unity of cultures of two friendly peoples.
