By withdrawing from INF Treaty U.S. shows Russia it won't tolerate Moscow's failure to meet obligations – Klimkin
The U.S. authorities demonstrate Russia that they will not tolerate its failure to fulfill its obligations under the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said.
"I understand the U.S. intention to withdraw from the INF Treaty. They demonstrate Russia that they will no longer tolerate its "hybrid" failure to fulfill its obligations. The architecture of strategic stability must be transparent, fair and efficient," he wrote on his Twitter page on Monday.
As reported, on October 21, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he intends to withdraw the United States from the INF Treaty. He said the U.S. would pull out "and then we are going to develop the weapons," the Associated Press said.
