Merkel's decision to come to Kyiv is evidence of her priorities - Yatsenyuk
Ukraine remains on the agenda of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and her decision to visit Ukraine confirms this, former Ukrainian prime minister and head of the political council of the People's Front Party Arseniy Yatsenyuk has said after a meeting with Merkel.
"German Chancellor Angela Merkel was and remains not just a supporter of Ukraine, but also really supports us in these difficult times. Ukraine is on the personal agenda of the chancellor. Her decision to come to Kyiv is evidence of Mrs. Angela Merkel's priorities," he wrote on his page Facebook on Friday, October 5.
Yatsenyuk also thanked Merkel for the friendly welcome, meaningful conversation and support of Ukraine.
