Court okays in absentia trial for Incomes, Taxes ex-minister Klymenko on 'tax evasion schemes'
The court has decided on an in-absentia investigation procedure regarding ex-Minister of Income and Taxes of Ukraine under disgraced ex-President Viktor Yanukovych, Oleksandr Klymenko, in the criminal proceedings of the so-called 'tax evasion schemes," chief military prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoliy Matios has said.
"Today, the court, in compliance with all the rules of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, has announced it gives consent to conduct a special (in absentia) pretrial investigation regarding the suspect Klymenko," Matios wrote on his Facebook page on Friday.
