Kuchma quits work of Ukraine's rep in TCG on Donbas settlement
The second President of Ukraine, the country's representative in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Leonid Kuchma stops his work in the TCG, his spokeswoman Darka Olifer has said.
"At the end of today's work in Minsk, Leonid Kuchma thanked his colleagues in the Trilateral Contact Group for their joint work. Thus, he summarized his work as a representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group," she wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
Kuchma also thanked Belarus for organizing the negotiations, she said.
For his apart, Martin Sajdik, who represents the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in the TCG, thanked Kuchma for his contribution to the Minsk process, his wisdom, and the loyalty to Ukraine that he showed in Minsk.
Kuchma was appointed by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in February 2015.
