Poroshenko approves ratification of Ukraine-Poland defense agreement
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law ratifying the general agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on defense cooperation.
According to the press service of the head of the Ukrainian state, the implementation of the document creates prerequisites for the development of Ukrainian-Polish cooperation in the field of defense.
"The agreement provides for interaction between the two countries in the exchange of information, demonstration of weapons and military equipment, joint military science programs, bilateral and multilateral military exercises, military cultural events and competitions, and the like," the statement reads.
