Ukraine, Turkey discuss joint fight against organized crime
Cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey in the field of security and combating organized crime will be strengthened due to close cooperation and the sharing of experience between law enforcement officers of the two countries, the press service of the Ukrainian National Police has said following a meeting of Deputy Head of the National Police Viacheslav Abroskin with representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Ukraine.
Turkish Ambassador to Ukraine Yonet Can Tezel noted the positive development of relations between Ukraine and Turkey in the field of security. He introduced to Abroskin an advisor on security cooperation and internal affairs at the Turkish Embassy.
"We in Ukraine feel safe. I think that with the appointment of our employee, cooperation between departments will accelerate. We and our embassy are always open and ready to cooperate," the ambassador said.
Abroskin noted that the appointment of a representative of Turkey is an important event in direct interaction between law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
