Tymoshenko wants law enforcers to investigate purchase of Priamy TV channel in favour of Poroshenko

Leader of the Batkivschyna party Yulia Tymoshenko has called on law enforcement agencies to investigate the purchase of the Priamy TV channel in favor of Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko.

"The Priamy TV channel is a channel bought through Poroshenko's straw persons from Yanukovych's son [former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych] for about $10 million. This is a completely criminal deal which, contrary to international sanctions against the Yanukovych family, was committed by the acting president of Ukraine," Tymoshenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.
