Ukraine's government has approved an agreement about trips using ID cards, Ukraine's Interior Ministry website has said.
"The agreement says Ukrainian citizens can visit Georgia using internal passports in the form of ID cards, which contain a contactless electronic carrier," the notice said.
Since March 31, 1999, an agreement between Ukraine and Georgia on non-visa travel has been in force for visits less than 90 days.
