Militants mount 21 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas over past day
Militants have opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 21 times over the past 24 hours, with no casualties reported among Ukrainian servicemen, the press center of the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has said.
"Invaders opened fire on the positions of our troops 21 times. At the same time, the enemy twice used weapons banned by the Minsk agreements. In the past day, the enemy fired at our positions outside the settlements of Krymske, Luhanske, Svitlodarsk, Starohnativka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne. There are no casualties among the servicemen of the Joint Forces," the JFO HQ said in a report on its Facebook page early on Tuesday.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, one militant was killed and one more was wounded.
The enemy fired at the positions of the Joint Forces three times on Tuesday, with all ceasefire violations recorded in the Mariupol sector. The enemy attacked Ukrainian strongpoints near Lebedynske and Vodiane from heavy machine guns and small arms.
