Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has extended the deadline for the draft in 2018 until December 2018.
Respective presidential decree No. 274/2018 dated September 10, 2018, was posted on the president's official website.
The decree amends Clause 2 of Article 2 of his decree No. 33, dated February 15, 2018. In keeping with the amendments, the current (autumn) draft should last from October to December (formerly from October to November).
Under the amendments to Clause 2 of Article 3 of presidential decree No. 33, subject to the draft are the men who are 20 and who are not older than 27 on the day of departure for military service in October-December 2018 (instead of October-November) without exemption or determent for health reasons.
The new decree becomes effective on the day of publication.
