Russian-led forces mounted 11 attacks on Ukrainian army on Monday
Russian-led forces mounted 11 attacks on the Ukrainian army from 07:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time on Monday, September 10; no casualties among Ukrainian servicemen have been reported, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters has said.
"From 07:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time today, the Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire 11 times, including with the use of weapons that are banned under the Minsk agreements," the JFO HQ said in an update on Facebook on Monday evening.
In the afternoon, the enemy resorted to grenade launchers, large-caliber machine-guns and small arms to attack JFO positions near the town of Zolote and the villages of Krymske, Luhanske, Sumy, and Pavlopil.
"What is more, the defenders of Krymske were attacked by an infantry fighting vehicle in the morning," it said.
In the second half of the day, Ukrainian positions near Luhanske came under 120mm mortar fire.
"No JFO casualties have been reported today. The situation in the JFO zone is under control," it said.
