SBU Head Hrytsak meets with U.S. Congress delegation
Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasyl Hrytsak has met with a delegation of representatives of the U.S. Congress and the Atlantic Council led by the fifth U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine, John Herbst, the SBU press service has said.
"During the meeting, the parties discussed the main issues of cooperation in the direction of countering modern challenges and threats to the national security of both countries," the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine said on its official website.
"We highly appreciate the state of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of security and express our gratitude to the American colleagues for their constant support and assistance in the fight against Russian aggression," Hrytsak noted.
Participants in the meeting noted the importance of continuing cooperation in the field of protection from hybrid threats from the Russian Federation and sharing experience on timely and effective response to them.
