Ukrainian marines take part in multinational exercises Platinum Eagle 2018 in Romania

Multinational exercises Platinum Eagle 2018 with participation of marines of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began in Romania, the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has reported.

"The USA, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Georgia, and Ukraine are among the participating countries. The aim of the exercise is to enhance the effectiveness of joint actions of the multinational unit, the interaction between the military personnel, support of the joint training capacity, preparation for peacekeeping missions, and development of the regional environment, favorable for military cooperation," the Defense Ministry said on Facebook on Friday.
