Crimea's information reintegration strategy should be adopted in near future – Dzhaparova

The strategy of information reintegration of Crimea annexed by Russia will be adopted in several months, First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova has said.

"The promotion of this document and the adoption of it at the government level is the key one. At the moment the last stage of the third round of approval is almost finished. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to complete the final positions ... Soon [it will be adopted]. I believe the document will also be adopted by the government in two or three months," Dzhaparova said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.

According to her, an appropriate action plan will be developed after adoption. "In fact, the action plan already exists and the strategy is already being implemented," she said.

At the same time, the first deputy minister noted that the adoption of the document by the government was a very important step.

As for the strategy of public diplomacy of the Crimean Tatars, Dzhaparova noted that the document was adopted as internal in the Ministry of Information Policy.
