Telegram's unblocking to be considered only if messenger provides encryption keys to FSB
The Russian telecommunications watchdog Roskomnadzor stands ready to consider unblocking Telegram only if the messaging service complies with the court ruling and starts providing its encryption keys to the Federal Security Service (FSB), the regulator's deputy director Vadim Subbotin told Interfax.
"Only if the FSB requirement and the court ruling are fulfilled, we will accordingly consider the possibility of unblocking Telegram," he said.
