Dodon says he is ready for dialogue with Ukrainian authorities
President of Moldova Igor Dodon has announced he is ready for "a dialogue, any contacts" with Ukraine, Radio Liberty reports.
I, as before, is open, and has recently even sent congratulations to Mr. Poroshenko on occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine national holiday, Dodon said.
It is noted that during the election campaign in November 2016 Dodon said that Crimea is a de facto Russian territory.
Dodon has been president of Moldova since December 2016. He holds pro-Russian positions and believes that the country he leads can "disappear" if joins the European Union.
