Law enforcers detain two men suspected of organizing attack on activist Handziuk

Employees of the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have detained two men suspected of organizing and participating in an assassination attempt against activist Kateryna Handziuk, the acting administrator of the executive committee of Kherson City Council and advisor to the Kherson mayor, Ukrainian Interior Ministry spokesman Artem Shevchenko has said.

"Today the National Police of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine detained two persons who are objectively suspected by investigators of organizing and participating in an assassination attempt against an employee of the city self-government, Handziuk, which took place in Kherson on July 31," Shevchenko wrote on his Facebook page on Friday.
