Judge of the Kyivsky district court of Poltava, Andriy Antonov, has regarded the systematic absence of prosecutors in the debate over the case of Kharkiv mayor Hennadiy Kernes and his guards Vitaliy Blynnyk and Yevhen Smytsky as a waiver of the claim and closed the criminal proceedings.
"The court ruled: to close the criminal proceeding on charges of Kernes Hennadiy Adolfovych, ... Blynnyk Vitaliy Dmytrovych, ... Smytsky Yevhen Mykolayovych in connection with the refusal of the prosecution to maintain the prosecution in the case," the decision says voiced by Antonov at the meeting court on Friday.
The decision of the court can be appealed in the Appeal Court of Poltava region within seven days from the date of its announcement.
