Ukrgazvydobuvannia ex first deputy chairman Tamrazov arrested for bribery
During a joint sting operation by Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office and SBU Security Service the former first deputy chairman of public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydobuvannia (2010-2014) Oleksiy Tamrazov was arrested as he was attempting to give a large bribe, Prosecutor General Yuiy Lutsenko has said.
"After the bribe offer was given and proof was received, the ex first deputy chairman of Ukrgazvydobuvannia Tamrazov offered a $200,000 bribe to a PGO prosecutor in return for lifting the arrest of property in a criminal case involving a criminal organization associated with disgraced ex President Viktor Yanukovych was arrested," Lutsenko said on his Facebook page on Thursday.
A.Tamrazov, born in 1975, served as first deputy chairman of state-owned PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya from 2010 to March 2014. He was also the owner of All-Ukrainian Media Group LLC (the website theinsider.ua).
