We must strengthen Ukrainian Armed Forces daily so it can face brutal enemy – Turchynov
Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov has said the country must strengthen Ukraine's Armed Forces daily in order to counter threats from the enemy.
"Our common efforts must be aimed at strengthening the defense capability of our state in order to provide our army with powerful weapons and modern equipment. We must strengthen our Armed Forces every day and improve their ability to withstand a strong and brutal enemy," he said at the graduation of participants in the program "Strategic Leadership in the Security and Defense Sector" in Kyiv on Tuesday, July 31.
Turchynov also said it is also necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the National Police, the National Guard and the Security Service of Ukraine to strengthen their ability to prevent threats from Russia.
"There is no alternative for European and Euro-Atlantic integration," he added.
