Poroshenko dismisses Kulich as Chernihiv regional governor
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree dismissing Valeriy Kulich as head of Chernihiv Regional State Administration.
"To dismiss Valeriy Petrovych Kulich from the post of head of Chernihiv Regional State Administration in accordance with his application," reads decree No. 218/2018 of July 30, which was published on the website of the head of the Ukrainian state on Tuesday.
Kulich was appointed Chernihiv regional governor at the end of March 2015. Prior to that, he was elected an MP (the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko faction) in constituency No. 205 (Chernihiv region).
