SBU blocks illegal import of aviation spares to Ukraine
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has blocked the mechanism of illegal imports of aviation products that are subject to state export control to Ukraine, the press center of the service has said.
Law enforcers established that one of Kyiv firms ordered spare parts in Moldova, which then used to service own fleet.
SBU officers found out that the products were delivered without accompanying documents and were not reflected in official reports.
The SBU continues an investigation within criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 333 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
At present, urgent investigative and operational actions are continuing.
