Ukraine not afraid of any sanctions from Russia – Groysman
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that Ukraine is not afraid of possible Russian sanctions against Ukrainian individuals and legal entities.
"It's even hard to overestimate how much harm Russia has done against Ukraine, a sovereign European state. More than 10,000 people have been killed, almost 40,000 people have been wounded, and 1.7 million people have been displaced, because militants have occupied their homes. And they want to impose sanctions for that?" he said at a briefing during his working visit to Kyiv region on Thursday, while answering a question from the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
Groysman noted that Russia does not need to impose sanctions, but withdraw its troops from Ukraine.
"We are not afraid of any sanctions, any of their decisions, and this is our position," he said.
Previously, Russian media reported that Russia was preparing a sanctions list against several hundred individuals and about a hundred legal entities in Ukraine.
