Poroshenko forms Ukrainian delegation for annual meeting of participating states to Convention on Prohibition of Bacteriological Weapons
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, by his decree, has formed a delegation to participate in the annual meeting of the participating states to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction.
Poroshenko signed corresponding decree No. 208/2018 on Wednesday, the website of the Ukrainian president said.
According to the document, the Ukrainian delegation of six people is headed by permanent representative of Ukraine at the UN office and other international organizations in Geneva Yuriy Klymenko.
The annual meeting of the participating states to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons will be held in Geneva on August 7-16.
