Ukrainian sailors from Gulf Pearl return to Ukraine
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has reported that four Ukrainian sailors-members of the crew of the vessel Gulf Pearl have returned to their homeland.
"The epic on the liquidation of debts to four Ukrainians, the crew members of the Gulf Pearl ship, has been completed. The payment of salaries to Ukrainian seamen and their return to Ukraine was ensured due to coordinated actions of the consul," the ministry's consular service said on Twitter on Wednesday.
It was reported earlier in the media that a ship Gulf Pearl, with Ukrainian sailors onboard, is located in the raid near the emirate of Sharjah (United Arab Emirates). Members of the crew said that their documents had been seized and they had not been paid wages since February 2018.
