Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleksandr Sayenko during his visit to Georgia on Tuesday met with new Prime Minister of this country Mamuka Bakhtadze and extended on behalf of Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman an invitation to make an official visit to Ukraine this fall.
"This visit could be timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic and consular relations between Ukraine and Georgia," the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers quoted Sayenko as saying on Wednesday.
The parties also discussed holding a meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation. Such a meeting could be held already this year.
