U.S. could strongly insist on implementation of Minsk accords by Ukrainian leaders
Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that the United States should set the Ukrainian leaders on the implementation of the Minsk agreements on the settlement of the situation in the east of the country.
"When discussing the Ukrainian crisis, we drew attention to the importance of conscientious implementation of the Minsk agreements. The United States could resolutely insist on this and set the Ukrainian leadership for this work," Putin said at a press conference after talks with U.S. President Donald Trump in Helsinki on Monday.
