Govt mulls strengthening responsibility of tour operators for not fulfilling obligations
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is considering strengthening the responsibility of tour operators for failing to fulfil their obligations, in particular for untimely transportation of groups of tourists, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said.
"We are thinking about how to strengthen their responsibility, and the government is working on it," Groysman said at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on Friday.
He said that he had instructed First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv to create a working group on this issue jointly with the Infrastructure Ministry.
"Now they are working [...] to submit proposals to strengthen the responsibility for tourist activities," Groysman said.
