Ukraine, EU call for release of Ukrainian citizens imprisoned in Russia, occupied territories
Participants of the 20th Ukraine-EU summit have called for the release of Ukrainian citizens imprisoned on the territory of Russia and the occupied Ukrainian territories, President of the European Council Donald Tusk has said.
We, of course, call for the immediate release of Ukrainian hostages that are being held on the territory of Russia, in particular, Ukrainian film director and writer Oleh Sentsov, Tusk said after the Ukraine-EU summit in Brussels on Monday.
