Opposition Bloc declares its readiness to represent Ukraine in talks with militants for settlement in Donbas

Co-chairman of the Opposition Block faction in the Verkhovna Rada Yuriy Boiko said about the readiness of representatives of his political power to participate in direct negotiations with militants regarding the settlement of the situation in Donbas.

"Our faction believes that we need direct official negotiations at the highest level between the parties to the conflict ... - between Ukraine, the Russian Federation, the unrecognized republics until the final goal is reached - the end of the war," Boiko said at a meeting of the conciliation council of deputy groups and factions of the parliament in Kyiv on Monday.

"If the president, who, by the way, promised to stop the war during two weeks, is rather afraid for his rating, we are ready to take part in these negotiations," the MP added.
