Two wounded in 29 enemy attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas
Russian-backed militants have opened fire on the positions of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) in Donbas 28 times over the past 24 hours, wounding two Ukrainian servicemen, the press center for the JFO headquarters has said.
"The situation remained complicated in the area of the Joint Forces Operation over the past day, on May 30. The fighting continued in all directions. Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire 28 times, using heavy weapons nine times - 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars," reads a report as of 07:00 on Thursday, which was published on the Facebook page of the JFO.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, two militants were killed and four others wounded.
During the night of the current day, on May 31, the intensity of military operations decreased. The fighting continued only with the use of only small arms. No casualties were recorded as of 07:00.
