Child killed in enemy shelling of Zhelezne settlement in Donbas
An underage girl has been killed in militants' shelling of the Zhelezne (Toretske) settlement in Donbas, First Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine Viacheslav Abroskin has said.
"Today, during the shelling of militants in the peaceful village of Zhelezne (Toretske), an underage girl was killed. The child went into the courtyard where she was killed by a fragment of an enemy shell. The investigators team up is working on the site," Abroskin wrote on his Facebook page on Monday.
In turn, Head of Donetsk Regional Military-Civil Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky said that the incident occurred in the village of Zhelezne near Toretsk. According to him, a 15-year-old girl, a student of the ninth form of school No. 7, was killed.
"The child was in the yard of her grandmother at the time when a large-caliber shell, released from the Russia-led positions, landed there," Zhebrivsky wrote on his Facebook page.
