Prosecutor seeking 14 years for Ukrainian Suschenko, charged with espionage
State prosecutors believe it has been proven that Ukrainian citizen Roman Suschenko is guilty of espionage, his attorney Mark Feygin told Interfax on Monday.
"During the presentation of cases, the prosecutor asked for Sushchenko to be sentenced to 14 years in a high-security penal colony," he said.
The defense insists that Suschenko is innocent; according to the attorney, he is a victim of a provocation.
