Some 26 incidents with foreign fans recorded in Kyiv, 15 cases opened
Law enforcers in Kyiv have registered 26 incidents with the participation of foreign fans who arrived for the final match of the UEFA Champions League 2018, currently 15 criminal proceedings have been opened.
The Kyiv police communications department said, in particular, ten cases were opened due to theft, three cases due to hooliganism, and two to fraud. In addition, two administrative protocols were drawn up in relation to foreign citizens for committing road accidents without injuries and drinking alcohol near a hotel in Darnytsky district of Kyiv.
Other registered incidents are informational in nature, the police said.
"The leadership of the National Police of Ukraine controls all the messages related to fans from different countries who came to the final matches of the UEFA Champions League," the report says.
The head of the main police department of Kyiv, Andriy Kryschenko, said on the air of the 112.ua TV channel, the situation in the capital is currently calm.
