Ukrainian crew to compete with T-84 at intl. competitions Strong Europe 2018 in Germany
Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will take part in the international tank competition Strong Europe 2018, which will be held in Grafenwoehr (Germany), the General Staff said on Facebook on Thursday.
It says that the competition will be attended by servicemen from eight countries.
"The teams from the Armed Forces of Austria, Poland and Germany announced the same modifications of the Leopard tank as in 2017: 2A4, 2A5 and 2A6, respectively. And the co-hosters of the competition will participate in the upgraded Abrams M1A2 sep. The French will bring in Grafenwoehr their main combat tank AMX-56 'Leclerc.' Ukraine, namely the tankers of the 14th separate mechanized brigade will compete on the T-84," the message reads.
The British and the Swedes will use the Challenger 2 and Stridsvagn 122 tanks.
The competition will start on June 3.
