Number of children hospitalized from Kharkiv school grows to 35
Thirty-five out of 37 children who applied for medical assistance after gas was sprayed at school No. 3 in Kharkiv on May 22 have been hospitalized, the press service of the regional state administration has reported.
"According to the acting head of the health department, Halyna Siroshtan, there are currently 37 victims, and 35 of them have been hospitalized. Six people are in intensive care," the press service of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration said on Tuesday.
Earlier on this day, unknown gas was sprayed during a break at school No. 3 in Kharkiv. According to the police, 37 children applied for help to doctors as of 14:20 on Tuesday, and 26 of them were sent to regional children's clinical hospital No.1.
Criminal proceedings have been launched under Part 1, Article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
