Kherson court arrests head of RIA Novosti Ukraine Vyshynsky until July 13
Kherson city court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest until July 13 against head of RIA Novosti Ukraine Kirill Vyshynsky, suspected of the state treason.
"A preventive measure in the form of detention until July 13, 2018 has been chosen," press secretary of the Crimean prosecutor's office Tatyana Tikhonchik told the Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treason), under which Vyshinsky is charged, does not provide an alternative to detention as a preventive measure.
